Heroes Helping Heroes is a program that strengthens communities in America by uniting them around the common purpose of building communities in Africa and other impoverished areas. A sustainable impact is made in the lives of vulnerable orphans by addressing urgent and long-term needs for housing, food, education and employment in one community at a time. Our first focus is Masoyi, South Africa. On this initiative, Gene Smart Compassion has partnered with Samaritan's Feet to help create sustainable solutions for the orphans of Masoyi.

Join the Movement: Become a Member on Facebook!

For every new fan that joins our Facebook group, Gene Smart will provide a meal for an orphan in Masoyi! Become an advocate by inviting your friends to join and telling them to invite their friends. By joining our online community, you can take an active role to help make a difference in the lives of orphans and other vulnerable children.

Fight Malnutrition: Meals for a Month

The Meals for a Month program is a new way to to feed malnourished children in Masoyi, South Africa. For just 12 dollars a month, you can feed one orphan for one month. Imagine that you are a child with no way to provide for yourself. Now imagine that you don’t know where your next meal will come from. Become a hero, and feed this child for an average of 40 cents a day. Donate Here!

Teach Gardening and Provide Nutrition: Gene Smart Community Vegetable Gardens

Help fight malnutrition in the entire Masoyi community by taking part in our Gene Smart Community Vegetable Gardens project! Every donation will help buy soil, fertilizer, tools, seeds, wheel barrows, and chicken wire for eight, massive community gardens in Masoyi. Donations will also help train Masoyi residents in gardening, helping to promote long-term help! Donate Here!

Provide Housing, Food, Clothing, Education: The Adoption Challenge

Rally your organization for The Adoption Challenge, a program designed to unite local groups in America, including schools, university organizations, churches and businesses, to "adopt" an orphan family in the shanty-town of Masoyi. No matter what community you live in, The Adoption Challenge will guide you on how to work together to help create a sustainable difference in the lives of the invisible children of Masoyi.
