"Empowering Tomorrow's Heroes Today"

The Heroes Helping Heroes program strengthens communities in the United States by uniting them around the common purpose of building communities for orphans and vulnerable children in one critical need location at a time. Our current Heroes Helping Heroes initiative is Masoyi, South Africa. Our community building projects are uniquely designed to inspire caring communities in the U.S. to sponsor orphan families or community gardens for the children of Masoyi. Each Heroes Helping Heroes sponsor may also provide resources to enhance our life skills courses for child-headed households and young mothers. With your help, we can meet immediate needs to help keep these children alive while establishing a foundation for change that will last for generations to come.

Provide Housing, Food, Clothing, Education: Adoption Challenge

Heroes Helping Heroes invites high schools, university organizations, churches and all types of businesses to "adopt" specific orphan families in Masoyi. If you would like more information, contact us and be introduced to a family that needs your help.

Teach Gardening and Provide Nutrition: Heroes Helping Heroes Compassion Gardens

Compassion Gardens projects allow organizations to supply the soil, fertilizer, water, tools, seeds, wheel barrows, and chicken wire for specific community gardens in Masoyi. This project will also train orphans and vulnerable children in gardening and provide invaluable nutrition.

Provide Daily Meals to Combat Malnutrition: The Feeding Challenge

Help provide daily meals for 1,770 orphans in Masoyi by taking part in the Heroes Helping Heroes feeding challenge! For only $5, you can feed an orphan for an entire month! That means that a $10 gift will feed two orphans for a month, a $25 gift will feed four orphans for a month and a $100 gift will feed 20 orphans for a month! How many children can you feed?

The Heroes Network

The Heroes Helping Heroes program is currently seeking volunteers who share our vision for a sustainable community in Masoyi and throughout the world to form The Heroes Network. We want you to share your connections and creative spirit with us to help take Heroes Helping Heroes to the next level! We have a unique system to promote awareness, growth in projects completed and ensure our success by simply sharing a message of hope! Each Heroes Network member will be asked to give creative feedback to enhance our program, share project opportunities with their own community, recruit new members to the network and even travel to Masoyi, South Africa.

Every volunteer in The Heroes Network program will be given a specific packet to guide them on their own journey. Each packet will include empowering challenges and unique opportunities to help out!

Facebook Fan Challenge: Recruit your 100 members of your network to join the “Gene Smart Wellness” Facebook Page and provide 100 meals to the children of Masoyi.
Recruit Sponsor Organizations for 1 Community Project per Year: Recruit local schools, churches or local business in your community to participate in The Adoption Challenge, The Community Vegetable Garden Project or Feeding Program Project.
Recruit 5 New Members of the Heroes Network: Over time, recruit 5 of your friends to become official Heroes themselves.
Creative Thinking Opportunities: Use your imagination to present new and innovative ideas to the HHH program about ways to expand and affect as many vulnerable children as possible.
Opportunities to Travel to Africa and Other Areas of Need: We invite you to travel to Masoyi with us for construction and garden projects while also encouraging you to seek opportunities to travel to Ghana, Nigeria, Brazil or even Haiti to become a hero via our partner, Samaritan’s Feet International.
Resume Builder: A guideline to utilize your Hero experience to help reach your desired collegiate and/or career goals.
